History of Chair Affair

Chair Affair was established in 2001 by Michelle Hansen-Garcia and Ivan Garcia who upon planning their own wedding discovered the prices for chair covers and table linens were highly overpriced.

We decided to start a small family owned and operated business to help better serve individual clients and their budgets.

Chair Affair offers you an opportunity to transform your wedding reception or special event into an elegant affair at an affordable cost. Although we are a young business, we certainly have made a reputable name for ourselves within the hotel and wedding industry in the  San Diego area.

Most of our clients who are having their receptions at hotels or other venues, usually decide to hire us as an outside vendor to provide chair covers and table linens due to our ability to provide the best quality products at the most affordable prices.     

We have provided our services to all of the Military Bases within San Diego, which includes the Admiral Kidd Club, Admiral Baker Club House, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, North Island Club, Naval Amphibious Base Club Coronado, Point Loma Submarine Base Oceanview Club and Harbor Inn.

We have provided services to most of the top hotels and wedding reception venues within the county of San Diego, such as the Downtown Marriott, Downtown Embassy Suites, Mission Bay Bahia, Chula Vista Country Club, Del Mar Fairgrounds, La Valencia, Downtown Westin, as well as many more.

Our chair covers are made from the highest quality materials and are always professionally dry cleaned and pressed prior to your special event.

Chair Affair specializes in Wedding Receptions, Wedding Anniversaries, Bar Mitzvahs, Quinceneras, Birthday Parties, graduations etc…
